Porcelain & Prints

Annarie is a multidisciplinary artist working in printmaking and ceramics. Her ceramic works are inspired by architectural and traditional shapes and forms reimagined into contemporary vessels.

Annarie's works on paper are based on still lifes and inspired by objects ‘full of memories’. For her creating a still life is about the history of the object, the people who may have handled and owned the object, as well as the shape of flowers or plants arranged in the vessel and the shadows they cast.

Annarie’s prints have been selected as finalist in several prizes including the Ravenswood Australian Woman Art Prize, Blacktown Art Prize, Hunters Hill Art Prize and winner of the Lane Cove Art award (Drawing, Pastels or Prints). Hildebrand is an active member of Open Bite Printmakers and regularly exhibit in group exhibitions.
