While world is on to celebrating Halloween, some stick to traditions not less ancient and mysteriousEl Dia De Los MuertosThe Day of the Dead.

This is a traditional Mexican celebration dating back to early 1500s. It's believed on this day for a short while we can reunite with those who are already long missed.

For a celebration of life and death, Juan Carlos Negreta – the head chef and co-owner of Maiz restaurant – widely known for his modern chic fusion of ancient culinary techniques and traditional Mexican street food is working with Madina Del Monty – artist/illustrator/creator of Pomegranate City and Mado Colouring books. They're putting together their creative forces to create a unique experience to indulge all your senses on that very special night.

The menu has been creatively crafted to showcase true Mexican flavours with traditional and modern techniques. Navigate through black and white colours contrasted by our colourful, fun and exciting view on celebrating the people who lived with us.

First course: Black Scallop Aguachile, Chile Ancho leche de tigre, Black Garlic, Burnt Onions, 10 chillies Oil. (Vegan Option: Wood Ear Mushrooms)

Second course: White "Pipian" Mole, Free Range Chicken, Roasted Macadamias, Spiced Pumpkin, Totomoxtle (Vegan Option: Grilled White Asparagus)

Third course: Blood Orange "Pan de Muerto" Sponge Cake, Mosaic Jelly, Coconut Foam, Tacha Agave Syrup, Edible Flowers (Vegan)
