Bush Journaling: Taking Inspiration from Nature

Join sustainable design duo Outer Island in taking inspiration directly from nature this spring exploring the colours, shapes, and textures of Sydney’s Centennial Park.

Connect with nature during this meditative morning outdoors observing, drawing, note-taking, and ethically sourcing nature to create a visual diary of your experience that morning. Design fundamentals will be discussed including next steps for you to turn your visual diary into a painting, object, or anything else you can imagine!

Bring a sketchbook or journal and a picnic blanket or chair to sit in and Outer Island will provide the rest in this fun, relaxed and sustainable workshop outdoors.
